The solar water pumps allow using the solar energy to pump the water from the wells, rivers, and lakes for different needs (irrigation, business, domestic use, cattle watering).
The main components of a Solar water pumping system are the Solar photovoltaic generator (photovoltaic modules` array), water pump, and matching electronic device.
The Smart solar water pumping system consists of PVT (Photovoltaic and Thermal) hybrid modules, which are our development and product, and allow us to pump the water with increased efficiency and get more pumped water, as well as the heated water (two in one).
It increases the efficiency of the pumping system by up to 40%, thanks to the cooling of the solar cells of the hybrid PVT module. The solar cells are cooling as follows. Part of the raised water flows through the (PVT) hybrid modules, as a result of which the solar cells are cooled, that is, "self-cooling" occurs, and the efficiency of the electrical conversion increases.
This problem is significant, especially during the hot summer season, when the photovoltaic modules of the conventional pumping systems, used at present, heat up to the maximum, as a result of which their working efficiency decreases and less electricity is produced. However, as is well known, more water is required during the hot summer period, and therefore increasing the efficiency of pumping systems during the hot months of the year is a key issue. The solution to that problem is realized through the "smart" pumping system we developed.
