The new type (new generation) PV modules are developed and tested. The new generation PV modules are prepared using a new type of encapsulation material with better optical characteristics compared to the existing Ethylene-Vinyl-Acetate films. The fabrication sequence of new PV modules is simple.

The main advantages of our new type of PV modules are the following.

• Increased efficiency (up to 25%) due to the better optical properties of encapsulation material, as well as due to the reduced operational temperatures.
• Low production costs (by 35%).
• Small energy payback period due to the smaller energy consumption during the fabrication.
• Prolonged lifespan due to the good characteristics of encapsulation material, as well as due to the reduced operational temperatures.
• Simple recycling process.
